Ms. Susan comes with a wealth of experience spanning over 10 years in development and humanitarian programmes in Education for vulnerable and disadvantaged youth. She’s led organisational change management processes, engaged with education in post conflict and development; and health systems strengthening, through support to primary health care- HIV/AIDs management. Susan has also supported implementation of Adolescent and Sexual Reproductive Health and livelihood micro projects for vulnerable and marginalised youth, women and men in central and northern Uganda. In her various capacities, she’s worked closely with government of Uganda, both at the national and local levels, and development partners. Susan has engaged both locally and internationally in resource mobilization.

Susan has previously, served as Country Director, at Nurture Africa and Promoting Equality in African Schools (PEAS) Uganda; worked with Windle Trust, Uganda (Acholi Bursary Scheme). She lectured the Bachelor and Community Development class at the National Institute for Special Education (UNISE), Kyambogo University, and recently provided programmes management support to Aids Orphans, UK project at Little Rock ECD centre, Nairobi. She is a founding Director of a local micro credit institution, Enterprise Development Finance (EDF) supporting youth and women in Naguru slum, Kampala and in four districts in northern Uganda.

Susan holds a Masters of Science (MSc) in Management of Natural Resources and Sustainable Agriculture from the Agricultural University of Norway, MSc in Environment Science, Makerere University and B.A (Arts) in Economics and Philosophy, Makerere University. She consequently possesses great exposure and rich experience, which we believe will benefit FAWE.

Ms. Murungi Sarah is a self-motivated, result oriented and multi-skilled person with self-dynamism.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts with Education from Makerere University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management from Uganda Management Institute and pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Development Studies from Uganda Martyrs University Nkozi plus other various short trainings attended. She brings on board a rich mix of competences in project planning, management, organizational development, budgeting, capacity building, community mobilization, conducting organizational capacity assessments, resource mobilization to mention but a few.  

She has exceptional experience in working with donors, implementing partners, various communities and direct beneficiaries of the organization.

She looks forward to seeing FAWEU emerge and develop to another dimension in terms of resource mobilization, data collection and utilization, research and benefiting more bright but unprivileged Ugandan children.

Mrs. Ida Percy Mutesasira is a Human Resource Officer in charge of the Human Resource Function at FAWE Uganda Chapter.

She holds a Master of Management Science (Human Resource Management) Degree from the Uganda Management Institute, a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from Uganda Management Institute and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Sciences from Makerere University.

She has been practicing Human Resource Management for the last six years and previously worked as a Community Development Officer with Masaka District Local Government.

Outside work, she is a member of St. Francis Chapel, Makerere University and is actively involved in Christian Ministry. She is also a wife and a mother of three beautiful children.

She looks forward to seeing FAWEU help many more girls enroll and complete their education.

Ms. Victoria Nanfuka joined FAWE Uganda Chapter in 2008 as an Administrative Assistant. Prior to that, she worked as an Administrative Assistant with Trojan Enterprises, a position she held for three years. While at Trojan Enterprises, her career in administrative functions was highly built. Prior to that, she taught in Manchester High School where she also doubled as a Secretary for two years. She was also a teacher at St. Michael High School, Ssonde for one year. Prior to that, she was a Secretary with Nakawa Market Savings and Credit Society, a position she held for two years.

Victoria holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology of Ndejje University, a Diploma in Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing & Switching (CCNA) of Makerere University,  a Diploma in Secondary School Education (DES) of Kyambogo University, quickbooks' training from the Certified Public Accountants and several other trainings in gender issues and advocacy.

She looks forward to seeing FAWEU grow and enable as many vulnerable children access, retain and complete their education cycle.
