Scholarship Announcement at Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE) Uganda Chapter.

The Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE) Uganda Chapter in partnership with Makerere University Business School (MUBS) announces the availability of scholarship opportunities for the academic year 2020/2021. FAWE Uganda shall recruit two (02) bright beneficiaries (girls) from economically disadvantaged families to join Makerere University Business School. The Scholarship package will cover tuition fees and provide psycho-social support to the selected beneficiaries during the course of the study.

Eligible criteria.

• Applicant must be a Ugandan girl child aged 18- 25 years old.

• Academically able and economically disadvantaged (Vulnerable) girl.

• Proof of admission  to Makerere University Business School and joining first year 2020/2021.

• Vulnerability aspects considered include young people living with disability, HIV/AIDS- infected or affected,  low income family status, and orphaned (total or partial) girls.

1. A hand written application clearly stating your family background and why you should be considered for this scholarship. Please address your application to the; scholarship committee – Forum for Africa Women Educationalists (FAWE)  Uganda  P.O BOX 24117, Kampala, Uganda.

2. Letter from home area (residence) Local council 1 to ascertain locality and used to trace home for verification and on spot checking.

3. Sketch map to your home from the nearest trading center.

The deadline for applications is 15^th February 2021 after which no applications will be accepted.
